NEWS (19th of June):
Check the website, the accepted papers (here for CAp, here for RFIAP) and some nice videos to present the papers are online !
NEWS (20th of May):
Both CAp and RFIAP have sent their paper notifications. If the authors of an accepted paper agree to that, CAp papers will be published online while RFIAp papers will be published in dedicated proceedings.
All authors of accepted paper are invited to make a 3-5 minutes video of their work (following the ICLR model) and send the link to the organisers before the 19/06 to give more visibility to their work.
In addition, we are discussing the organisation of dedicated CAp/RFIAP days in 2021 for authors to present their current work to a non-virtual audience. We will keep you informed about this as soon as possible.
NEWS (14th of April):
Unfortunately, due to the recent development of the epidemic, and because of the different protection measures in France, this issue of CAp+RFIAP conference is cancelled.
The review process will nonetheless be conducted until the end.
NEWS (25/03):
Due to the current public health situation, we have decided to postpone the submission paper deadline for CAp to the 2nd of April.
It is too soon to know if the conferences will take place as originally planned but we would like the submission and reviewing processes to follow (more or less) the original schedule for both conferences. We do not see the point of having a “virtual” French gathering and we believe that postponing the conference will be difficult so, if the health status does not allow us to organize the conferences, they will be cancelled altogether this year (the next edition of CAp will be next year in Saint-Etienne, the next edition of RFIAP will be in two years).
We will give you an update about this as soon as possible.
In all cases, the list of accepted papers for CAp will be published on the website by the end of May 2020 with a pdf link to the accepted papers if the authors agree to that. The proceedings of RFIAP for 2020 will be published as usual.
-------------------------------------
From the 23rd to the 26th of June 2020, SSFAM (Société Savante Française d'Apprentissage Machine) and AFRIF (Association Française pour la Reconnaissance et l'Interprétation des Formes) will jointly organized on the Tohannic campus of Université de Bretagne Sud in Vannes, CAp (Conférence sur l'Apprentissage automatique) and RFIAP (Reconnaissance des Formes, Image, Apprentissage et Perception). The two communities have numerous common research problems and we believe that this co-location will allow for very fruitful discussions. RFIAP will be held from the 23rd to the 26th of June while CAp will be held from the 24th to the 26th of June 2020. The two conferences will have separate submission procedures but all submissions will be handled through EasyChair (see the respective calls).
